Other Services
Personalised Provisions Stocking Service
Enjoy the freedom of a self-catering getaway without the stress of
shopping for and packing up the food. Fax or email us your requirements, we'll do the shopping and have
everything ready and waiting for you when you check into your cottage.
Cost of provisions plus a $30 service fee
Ready-to-cook Gourmet Meals
Enjoy a superb home-cooked gourmet meal with a little help from your
host Rachel Blackmore. Your chosen meal will be delivered to your
cottage with full instructions on what you need to do to turn it
into a gourmet
dinner. In most cases it will be as simple as turning on the barbecue
or heating the frying pan and cooking a superb marinated steak to
your liking, then tossing a salad.
This dining option is by arrangement and requires 24 hours notice. If
you would like to take advantage of a Ready-to-Cook Gourmet Meal and
you are only staying one or two nights please advise us prior to your
arrival. At time of booking please also advise of any special dietary requirements, food allergies
or dislikes.

Dine with Your Hosts
By arrangement, enjoy dinner with your hosts Rachel Blackmore and John
Robertson. This four course home-cooked gourmet dinner features local
seasonal produce and is matched with local wines.
As a home economist Rachel’s interest in and passion for food
sometimes seems to consume her life. Rachel grew up in Hawke’s
Bay and returned four years ago after residing in Sydney for 20 years.
While in Sydney her various jobs included teaching microwave cooking,
editing cookbooks and more recently setting up and managing a food website.
Rachel and John look forward to sharing a meal with you and showcasing
the best of what Hawke’s Bay has to offer.
This dining option is subject to availability and requires 48 hours
notice. If you would like to enjoy dinner with your hosts and are only
staying one or two nights please advise us prior to your arrival. At
time of booking please also advise of any speical dietary requirements, food allergies or dislikes.
Cost: $70 per head (includes a glass of Hawke’s Bay wine matched
to each course)
