Valid to 31 March 2012
Starfish Cottage NZ$350 per night sleeps two couples or one couple and two singles
Periwinkle Cottage NZ$250 per night sleeps one couple or two singles

All rates are subject to confirmation at time of booking. Weekly and longer stay rates available on application.

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include full use of cottage and property facilities including:

• High-speed wireless internet connection, SKY TV, off-street parking and use of laundry facilities;
• Generous breakfast provisions including: locally roasted coffee; local organic eggs; Holly Bacon; locally baked artisan bread; Hawke’s Bay grown fresh seasonal fruit; Aromatics Tomato Ketchup; and locally produced preserves (special dietary requirements easily and happily catered for - just let us know when booking);
• Basic pantry provisions including: local olive oil, selection of vinegars, flour, sugar, rice, pasta, herbs and spices;
• All linen and essential toiletries; and
• Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.

Payment
Cash, Visa or Mastercard are accepted and NZ residents may also pay by EFTPOS. Payment for your stay is due on your departure, however, if you staying for more than a week we would appreciate part payment after seven days.

Cancellation Policy
As we go to considerable effort to make our guest’s welcome, short-notice cancellation has a significant impact on our business. In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled reservation the following applies:

• No cancellation charge, if cancelled 30 days or more before guests’ expected arrival date;
• For cancellations made within 30 days of the expected date of arrival a 25% charge applies;
• Cancellations made within seven days of the expected arrival date attract a 75% charge and;
• No-shows are charged 100% of the total booking.

These cancellation fees are at the discretion of the management and will only apply if we are unable to replace the scheduled booking.

To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit of the total stay or a current credit card number is required as a guarantee. Nothing will be charged to your credit card unless cancellation penalties arise.

Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in from 3pm or earlier by arrangement; check-out 11am or later by arrangement.

Children
Due to the size and configuration of the cottages we regret that Driftwood Cottages are not generally suited to children. An exception may be made when one party books both cottages.

Smoking
Driftwood Cottages has a “Smoke Free” policy. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking inside, however, if necessary, they may smoke outside. Smoking inside The Cottages will incur a $50 additional cleaning fee.

Additional Charges
We reserve the right to charge for any damage, breakage or loss that is due to neglect by the guest.
